My complaint about the JRK Foundation

To those people who are outraged at the JRK Foundation's scurrilous communications, this letter will be of interest. People who are well-meaning yet misinformed might also profit by proceeding. For the remainder who are indifferent, faint of heart, or content to let the JRK Foundation insult the intelligence, interests, and life plans of whole groups of people, I regret that there is little reason to read further. Let me start by stressing that I am not attempting to suppress anyone's opinions, nor do I intend to demean it personally for its beliefs or worldviews. But I do warrant that I must delegitimize it.

Clericalism has served as the justification for the butchering, torture, and enslavement of more people than any other "ism". That's why it's the JRK Foundation's favorite; it makes it easy for it to weaken our mental and moral fiber. The JRK Foundation has never disproved anything I've ever written. It does, however, often try to discredit me by means of flagrant misquotations, by attributing to me views that I've never expressed. In the end, the whole of the JRK Foundation's inerudite worldview may perhaps be expressed in one simple word. That word is "hedonism". Let me explain: Many people who follow the JRK Foundation's overgeneralizations have come to the erroneous conclusion that newspapers should report only on items the JRK Foundation agrees with. The stark truth of the matter is that its habitués argue that it can be trusted to judge the rest of the world from a unique perch of pure wisdom. These are the same uneducated skinheads who generate an epidemic of corruption and social unrest. This is no coincidence; the main dissensus between me and the JRK Foundation is that I allege that the JRK Foundation doesn't perceive that anything is wrong with it. It, on the other hand, contends that we can all live together happily without laws, like the members of some 1960s-style dope-smoking commune.

There's a time to keep silent and a time to speak. There's a time to love and a time to hate. There's a time for war and a time for peace. And, I contend, there's a time to bring fresh leadership and even-handed tolerance to the present controversy. Or, to put it less poetically, the JRK Foundation will probably throw another hissy fit if we don't let it take control of a nation and suck it dry. At least putting up with another the JRK Foundation hissy fit is easier than convincing the JRK Foundation's forces that I want nothing more -- or less -- than to clarify and correct some of the inaccuracies present in the JRK Foundation's harangues. To that task I have consecrated my life and I invite you to do likewise. I hope I haven't bored you by writing an entire letter about the JRK Foundation. Still, this letter was the best way to explain to you that the JRK Foundation lives in a world of privileged emotion devoid of any connectable empirical dots.
